Trauma Care & Casualty Technology provides immediate care to the injured and efficient care in accidental cases. These technicians are imparted knowledge of disease processes, bedside procedures and technical skills to handle critical/ emergency/ traumatic cases.
Scope/ Features
A diploma in emergency and trauma care technician provides rapid attention to those who have been injured, as well as proficient care in unintended circumstances. These experts are given information on disease types, bedside approaches, and specialised skills to deal with basic/emergency/adverse situations. They can work as paramedics, emergency medical technicians, pre-clinic care providers, nutritionists, general practise attendants, and united health experts, such as word related technicians and physiotherapists who deal with trauma patients.
The course teaches students to manage trauma ranging from small injuries to humanitarian catastrophes and injuries in women, children, and the elderly, with the primary goal of enhancing patient safety and quality of care. Basic emergency resuscitation skills for adults and children are taught to the pupils. They will learn about trauma care management, anaesthetic principles and pain management in trauma, diagnostic and interventional radiology in trauma, shock treatment, trauma complications, and their management and transfer to definitive care.
The Diploma in Emergency and Trauma Care enables technicians to deal with such situations and justify advances in equipment technology by saving thousands of lives. As an ICU Technician, you can work in various nursing homes and clinics in the private, public, and semi-public sectors.
